This particular dream started out with getting ready for people to come, there were lots of obstacles occurring , spilled water, a little boy hanging on me and not letting go, so I carried him around wherever I went. Each of these occurrences had a meaning in the dream world.

People continued to come so we moved to a larger room. This was more than a regular Tupperware party! It was sharing what I learned and how I used what I learned to get me to where I wanted to be. They found seats around and I decided to sit on the floor with them. So I started my story:

My first days of doing Tupperware parties in 1978 were fear filled. I went through that fear and did it anyway. I remember taking along tiny plants that I had started to give to anyone who scheduled a party. My experience and passion grew as I continued to schedule more parties and teach more women to cook and preserve their food. Before the year was over I was driving a company car. I traveled a lot, incorporating two or three parties in a day in one area. I enjoyed meeting women and sharing new ideas and recipes. I enjoyed the rewards, trips and gifts I received from doing a good job as an executive manager.

I remember the day my “back went out”. It took me down to the floor in a heap. The pain was so severe we canceled a family trip and I lay around for a week or so. I made a change! I decided I could schedule parties during the day, and late afternoon. I set up guidelines and if parties were scheduled in the evening, I would give them to one of my team, the Honey Bees, to take care of. I learned that I had a responsibility and a choice to give my life more balance.

Quite a few years later, I had fallen into the old pattern of doing too much and again I ached with severe back pain. It was over the Holidays and I needed to be lying down instead of enjoying my family. Lying quietly and reflecting, I knew I needed to change! It was January, 2000, I announced to my husband I would be finished with my Tupperware business in May, needing to sell hundreds of dollars of inventory before I finished.

Then the fear set in! I would not have a company car any longer, and my income would stop! I panicked. I had driven a company car for 21 years and now I would not have a car! While I was at a conference in Minneapolis, I called a dealer from a small town where I had looked at a car one time, and said I wanted to buy the car. OMG. I did not take time to feel the fear or understand it. I did not think or act clearly, did not ask for help from God, angels, or my husband. My ego was so independent and fearful that I acted out of impulse!

Eleven years later I know to ask for help, I trust, have patience, communicate with loved ones, and listen to the guidance given in all forms. Most recently I take time, have patience, listen to my heart, my gut feeling , and my inner knowing. It has proven to be a happier way t o live, by accepting what is and letting go of fear.

Learning about and using different essential oils help with all kinds of fear: Here is a short list: Ylang Ylang, Frankincense, Lavender, Neroli, Rose, Cedarwood, Cypress, Roman Chamomile, Bergamot, Basil, Ginger, Cinnamon. One or more of these great essential oils are synergized in my personal blends on my website http://www.healthygirlsbreastoil.com/shop/ Thank you for taking the time to visit right now.

Messages from Dreams

Do you ever hear a message from a voice while you are sleeping? It feels and sounds real like someone is speaking to you directly? I remember a few messages that were very loud and direct. “Where are you Going?” This was quite a few years ago. I remember answering that question on paper all morning long as I half listened to a speaker at a class for insurance. I was not interested in the class and because of the words I heard that morning, I knew I didn’t want to continue with what I was doing. The dream helped me write down a direction I wanted to go.

Another time my dream was so very real. Papers were blown off the table until the table was clear and I heard “Peaceful dancing, Resume.” I was pushed up against the wall with a grid. So I pondered on the meaning of that forceful dream. I believed the clearing the table of a mess of papers was a way to tell me to get rid of the old stuff and emotions and resume a happy, joy filled life. I enjoyed dancing and this message told me I was missing out and it would be for my greatest good to resume a peaceful life and dancing .

I enjoy writing my dreams down just as I wake up. I love to figure out what the message is from them. They are interesting to read later, and remember what was going on in my life at that time.

Dreams can be all mixed up, where people or babies become animals, a muddy road with deep grooves changes to a big lake. Sometimes the road is narrow, and sometimes you, your car, or your keys are lost, or you are looking for a way out of a building, or feeling fenced in. Then there are the fun dreams where you are very passionate, or flying over water, or riding a fast white horse, or a buffalo going through a fence. Each person or thing in a dream relates to an aspect of my life. Hundreds of dreams help to give us hundreds of solutions and answers to situations we are experiencing.

It is fun to read then over months later, to remember what was going on in our life when we wrote about the dream, and how we moved into a better place with the help of a dream. Here is one I remember well:

“Riding a fast river… The water was high and moving fast. There were rapids and I rode over them easily and safely, bumping on the rocks below me. At first I did not look where I was going , but then I did look and just trusted and hung on” A couple of nights later I heard a message “4 more days” I knew that meant there would be a change. Thanks to the dream, I knew it would happen easily and I was safe.

Certain essential oils may enhance the vividness of dreams. They may be applied at the back of the neck, from the top of the shoulders to the base of the skull. Cedar wood (calming nervous anxiety, spiritual), Frankincense ( emotional balance spiritual awareness and meditation), Ylang Ylang (balance male/female energies), Clary Sage (recall memory), Tangerine, Bergamot (soothing calming to the endocrine system, relieving anxiety and stress) A blend of any of these oils may help the dream state. I recently created a few new blends, Divinely Feminine, (a roll on), Awaken Goddess Mist, and Angel Love (not on my website yet) http://www.healthygirlsbreastoil.com/shop/

A Climb to the Top

All my life I have been curious about what was around the next corner, or across the river. I love challenges, and if I really want to find out what is around the corner or across the river, I will find a way to go there. It may require some thought and planning to take that step. It may require asking questions and then making a commitment to actually do it.

I think of a particular incident when I visited Sedona, AZ. I had taken a trip to visit my son who was a helicopter pilot with a Grand Canyon Tour company. While he was working, I had the day to myself to go exploring. I wanted to see as many things as I could and I felt free as a bird to do so, and to go where my heart led me.

I was exploring where to go to climb the back side of Castle Rock. I finally found the road amid much construction and congested traffic The road led me to a parking area where many people had left their vehicles and were making their way toward the climb up the back side of Castle Rock, the only way to climb this Rock.

I looked up and thought I would take a big drink of water and then I wouldn’t have to carry a water bottle. I was planning to go about half way up. It was a beautiful warm day in May. I could make it back to the car before I’d need another drink of water. I felt excited as I started out across and up the rocks. It was awesome to look back to see how small the cars looked. I was quite a long way up already. I was getting very warm and started to get thirsty. I scanned the path upwards and decide I would go to this spot where the rock seemed to go straight up and rest a while in the shade.

As I rested I watched people coming up the path and some people coming down from the path. A couple paused and talked briefly to me and said they had done this climb before. I noticed he had a backpack. They started up the steep side of the rock on their hands and knees. They moved gracefully along and reached a plateau.

I longed to go too. I did not have any water. Without hesitation I called to them and asked if they had an extra bottle of water. They answered yes they had a bottle of water for me and would leave it for me on the plateau.

I thanked them and was so excited and started out again, up the steep part of the rock on my hands and knees. I took a good drink and found a way to carry the bottle.

As I continued to climb I’d look back every so often to see where I’d been and how far I’d come. I had a feeling of accomplishment and there was so much farther to go! It was exciting. I knew then I was not stopping till I reached the top! The couple who shared the water was within view and we shared a few words once in a while, but we climbed separately.

As I came to the last 20 feet before the top, I felt a rush of adrenalin; I was going to reach the top! It was the most exhilarating moment of the climb.

The couple was at the top the same time so we took pictures. I was so grateful for them coming into my life that day.

As we started down the mountain, I thought I could find my way, but I did not see the path, and again the couple guided me in the right direction to follow the path marked with pillars of stones.

That day reminds me of so many times in my life when I tend to think too small or too short. When all I really need to do is to take the leap of faith, trust the encouraging words from people who care, and be grateful as they guide me to beautiful higher mountains to clmb.

I wrote this in Sedona, AZ in May 2007. I have never shared it before but felt I wanted to share it now.

I see a dead tree with arms up to the sky, like a yoga pose. I have a choice of two paths, can’t see the end of either path. I can go to the right and have a steep climb, or I can choose to stay on the same level path.

I choose to go to the right. I may have to come down again, but for now I must see and feel this awesome place. Now that I am up here, I can see more clearly where I am going. Tears well up in my eyes and I cry with joy that I have come this far. It feels good to rest. I don’t need to go any higher now.

After my rest, I feel different about continuing to climb. It feels like something or someone is beckoning me to keep going and go higher. I don’t need to go back, not now. Slowly I move forward on my climb up. Where will it take me? Perhaps someplace magical… What is around the next corner?

Everywhere I look, something resembles something, a twisted branch lying between two trees. I look down at it. It is not an obstacle. I turn around and look up to find a bird scolding or praising me. I’m not sure which but he wanted to get a better look at me so he gets closer and closer until I can see his eyes. He definitely is giving me a message that he approves of what I’m doing too. Then before I could take a picture he flies off with a mate.

As I continue to climb, I stop to look back to see where I was a few minutes ago. It looked out of reach a minute ago and now I’m up here. It feels great that I’ve come this far. I will need to go down sometime, but I can come up here any time I choose. I find it is easier to climb up than to climb down. Just like my dreams had told me. I ask the angels and Theresa’s spirit to help me get down to the path again.

Sometimes there are big boulders in the stream of life. Since I cannot move this boulder I will walk around it. Maybe I will lean on it while I contemplate where I want to go next. I walk again on the path provided for me, sometimes in the rain, sometimes in the sun, sometimes in the cool summer breeze and sometimes in the cold dark shadows of night. All the time I trust that I am safe. I listen and follow the messages I am given.

There may be sadness, sickness, pain and hurt, but it is my path. I listen and KNOW that I am doing the very best I can with God’s help. Many times I experience joyful occasions where smiles come easily, and I rejoice and hoot and holler and beat the drums loud! There are more of these times of happiness now that I have found love and love has found me.

To get to that state of love is a path for all to take. Some choose to take the dirt road or the slower way, others will choose to take the highway and go at top speed.

As our physical body finds it isn’t capable of doing what we would like to do we realize we need to rest and find alternative ways and energy to enjoy every minute of each day.

We thank our supportive friends and family. Those who shared glad times and sad times, the bike rides in the country, the many camping trips with loved ones. Thanks for the breeze from the hot sun….. To be continued

Create Infinite Possibilities to Nurture and Protect Your Breast Health

Are we so wrapped up in our thinking and activity that we loose touch with our senses? Sensing brings us fully into the moment. When we take an apple in our hand, our mouth starts to water, and we feel gratitude to have a ripe juicy apple to taste and enjoy. When we hear a children playing or a baby crying, what are the feelings we have about that experience? When we see beautiful sunset or the brilliant color of the leaves on the trees in Fall, do we give thanks for our eyesight and wish we could capture it forever in our mind? When we smell a beautiful scent, as in a rose, we want to wear it, and have it part of us.

Only when we are aware and conscious can we receive the gifts of experience. Awareness is a mind-set to change our past and everyday patterns of living and create new, meaningful experiences where we start to slow down and enjoy each moment.

Just imagine, What if we could create infinite possibilities for ourselves and loved ones in breast health by using quality therapeutic essential oils and learning a few easy techniques and practices. What if the benefits of certain essential oils and a gentle lymphatic self breast massage could erase the pain and tenderness, lumps and bumps in our breast tissue? What if we could teach every woman we know to love and accept their body just the way it is. What if we could not only keep a breast, but save many breasts and lives?

We are exposed to toxins in our environment every day. These toxins may be both physical and emotional and they build up in our body. The organs of detoxification become overwhelmed and do not perform effectively ,resulting in a weakened immune system, causing discomfort, pain and a wide variety of physical and emotional conditions.

We have learned quality essential oils have unique properties, including bringing a higher vibration to our bodies.

They are anti bacterial; some are anti fungal, anti-viral and/ or anti-parasitic. They bring more oxygen to the cells. They raise the frequency of the body to levels at which disease cannot exist. They benefit all levels, physical, emotional, mental and spiritual at the same time. They stimulate the release of endorphins and have the capacity to clear and balance emotional trauma and negative patterns.

What if we could move to higher vibrations with our breast health? Many women feel their breasts are too big too small, to saggy, or somehow not right. Many women live in fear everyday wondering when it will be their turn to be told they have breast cancer. What if essential oils can help release that anxiety?

What if we could learn to love our bodies, just the way they are? What if we can learn a loving self breast massage that would improve our immune system, stimulate the lymphatic system to move toxins out? And lastly what if we can change our thoughts to feel, know and trust that we have the innate ability to heal ourselves? Because we Do!

“Time does not stand still.” My mom would say those words often, with a ring in her voice. As the days seem to retreat into nights and the next day dawns, those words still ring in my heart. Does it matter? What is time all about anyway?

It’s been a short memorable summer. Our grandson’s wedding on May 14th was just the beginning of lots of celebrating this summer. Even though the day was quite cool and rainy, the bride and groom never stopped smiling. Everyone enjoyed the entire day and danced into the night. They even played a few polka dances just for grandma and grandpa.

A bout ten days later we were on our way with our daughter and son in law to a grandson’s graduation in Montana. Much flooding in Montana kept us from taking shorter routes. The day after the graduation party we took a quick trip to Glacier National Park. In the beautiful snow covered Rocky Mountains we took a hike on top of 3 feet of snow to see a double waterfall. The Badlands of South Dakota were awesome this time around. We saw flowers, and there was a lot of green, not as I remembered it in the 1960′s. There were paths leading to” doors and windows” that looked out to vast areas of Badlands.

Getting the pond ready, planting and tending to vegetable and perennial gardens was very challenging this year. Keeping our pet ducks and other critters out was almost impossible. July was in full bloom as we celebrated at our granddaughter’s wedding on July 16th. It was very special for me, and I couldn’t help but give everyone a hug after the ceremony.

August came with birthdays, farm shows, and going through 50 years of pictures to put together for our 50th anniversary party on Sept 10th. It was a monumental task, sorting old black and white pictures in 1961 through digital saved pictures in folders. Many needed to be scanned, cropped and arranged in folders. I learned stuff I had never done before and it was exhilarating to get it all done! We had three picture boards and a short slide show for our families to see as they celebrated with us.

“Time keeps marching on” another quote Mom would say about time. So now as we march into Fall, we gather in the last vegetables as we put the gardens to rest. Taking my mom for a ride to the apple orchard was one of our favorite things to do in Fall. She would smile, watch out the window an ask again “where are we going?” She was 90, Sept. 2002

Nettles and dandelions, both Spring herb “weeds” are often shunned and treated as weeds and discarded. With a little education, we may all learn to appreciate these herb weeds in our backyard! Lets take a second look and learn how to use them to enhance our food. We buy supplements with boron (in nettle) and dandelion in teas. Learning the medicinal benefits is what interested me in gathering Stinging Nettle leaves and dandelion leaves and blossoms. Early Spring is the best time to harvest, when the plants are young. Stinging nettle likes rich soil and I have found it in my perennial garden as well as under some low growing pines where we had dumped leaves years ago. You may want to wear gloves when harvesting, but it is not necessary if you gather the leaves carefully.

Why do nettles sting? How can they be good for you if they sting? The leaves and stem have stinging hairs, which inject histamine which causes a stinging sensation when touched. Stinging Nettle has many medicinal benefits when eaten. Traditionally it is a spring tonic , cleansing the body of metabolic wastes. It gently stimulates the lymphatic system, releasing toxic waste through the kidneys. It is rich in iron, excellent for circulation, red blood cells, anemia and fatigue. Studies show it to be as effective as an anti-inflammatory drug especially for arthritis, joint and muscle pain. It is similar to dandelion leaf in eliminating uric acid from joints.

Nettle leaves can be steamed like spinach served with butter, or make a mild refreshing tea that can be sweetened with honey. I dry the leaves for later use in meats and egg dishes.

Dandelion has some of the same benefits as nettle and more. The young leaves, flowers and buds are great in salads. Dandelion helps the liver and gall bladder break down fat for detoxification, and the kidneys as a diuretic. They have a taste similar to chicory, and an abundance of vitamins and minerals. Dandelion leaves provide; potassium, magnesium, niacin, calcium, phosphorus, proteins, iron, sulphur, zinc, vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E. Dandelion with redily available magnesium, increases bone density. Could that help to prevent bone disorders and osteoporosis?

Make a salad with dandelion leaves chopped with sheep feta cheese, olive oil, and onion is a nice combo.
I add it to other salad greens for a delicious, nutritious side dish for lunch or dinner.

Please share your comments and suggestions about using Stinging Nettle and Dandelion.

I heard Jana Stanfield, sing the song “ I’m Not Lost, I’m Exploring” years ago at a Tupperware Convention I attended. It seemed to make a lot of sense as I pondered about my particular purpose. I enjoyed doing what I was doing. I was educating women then about storing and serving their food in safe Tupperware products. Sometimes I would get lost as I traveled in 15 -20 counties, but most of the time I planned ahead, using maps to figure out which roads to take and how long it would take me. I would make several stops or parties in one direction, so planning was very important. There was time for exploring, and sometimes a nap, if my day was going to be a long one.

Today, I’m still not lost ,but exploring. Even though I may appear lost to a few people, confidently I spread my wings and step into new areas where women gather. I know now my purpose is to educate women again. This time it is to give them information, tools and techniques to use in taking care of their physical bodies, especially breast care. I offer lessons in self care, using therapeutic essential oils and a loving self -lymphatic breast massage as an alternative to what else is offered “out there”. Healthy Girls Breast Oil was created to nurture and protect in 2007. Choosing therapeutic essential oils, some with D’Limonene, which clinical studies have proved effective against abnormal cell growth, may be the alternative women are seeking.
